Do you need linguistic support for your text?
I’m happy to help you – precisely, reliably, and humanely.
Translation
Translation involves conveying the content of the source text accurately in the target language. A good translation respects the source text but reads naturally in the target language.
Post-editing
For customers who use AI or machine translation tools I will be happy to accept post-editing jobs. The pre-translated text will be checked for content accuracy.
Copy-editing
This includes checking a text for grammatical accuracy, correct spelling and hyphenation but also with an eye to stylistic aspects.
Proof-reading
Proof-reading involves checking the target text for grammatical accuracy and correct spelling and hyphenation.
Ok to print
For important projects such as annual or half-yearly reports I will be pleased to read the layouted text for you to ensure that everything is in the right place.
Certifications & legalizations
I am registered with the certification office of Basel-Stadt and can provide certified or legalized translations upon request.

IT aspects
I work with SDL Trados Studio, a computer-assisted software (CAT tool)
I can process the commonly used file formats: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) plus IDML, XLIFF.
If you have a PDF file I would appreciate it if you could send me an editable file instead (e. g. it is possible to generate an IDML file from InDesign/InCopy – you can then upload this directly to your system).
